Plants
Sep 12, 2011
Yesterday I was watering plants and Opal was hanging out. I asked what she was doing. "Just eating oregano" she said, accurately.
Tonight, I asked her to go pick me some oregano. After a surprisingly long time, she returned, with spearmint in one hand and chocolate mint in the other. "You didn't say which kind!" she explained. "But these are mint! I sent you for oregano!" She regarded me unsympathetically. "I don't know which one is the oregano. It doesn't have its name on it." (Neither does anything else in the garden.)
