I am a very lazy seamstress, very definitely in the "Finished is better than perfect" mindset. So these are mostly instructions for slapdash things suitable for amusing small children. First, here are some instructions so slapdash as to be nearly non-existent, but there are some useful sources: dress-up non-clothes. Most important tip for dressing-up stuff; go shopping the day after Halloween. If you have stuffed animals that are going camping, perhaps they need stuffed animal sleeping bags. They also might need a dish and some dog bones, both of which are described in really quick felt things. Here are some things to do with silk bits, or any smallish fabric bits really but I had a lot of silk tie samples available. Every child needs a wristlet for carrying treasures. And a shoulder bag (or, in my daughter's opinion, 100). My child and I both need an assortment of the world's easiest pencil cases. And every baby needs some baby blankets (actually my toddler still needs a half-dozen for various purposes).
